Marquis D. Gibson trained at Howard University where he graduated magna cum laude as well as with SpringboardNYC and AADA-Los Angeles. Marquis is a veteran of the American conservatory Theater, Marin Shakespeare, Cincinnati Playhouse, Baltimore Center Stage, Signature Theater and many more…This is not his first appearance in a play inspired by Shakespeare: He also appeared in Shakespeare in Love. Marquis was a cast member in the Pulitzer-prize-winning play FAT HAM by James Ijames which is currently playing at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway, following sold-out runs at the Public Theatre in New York.
