Lynn Robert Berg: About the Artist

Lynn Robert Berg just completed his 19th season at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival (where he recently appeared in Much ado About Nothing) – and is a frequent performer at Great Lakes Theatre Festival (Cleveland’s Classical Theatre Company) Including a Long-running stint as Scrooge in the annual production of a Christmas Carol. Lynn holds an MFA from the University of Delaware Professional Theatre Training Program.

Regional credits include: the title role of Richard III, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Les Misérables, The Tempest, Hay Fever, The Crucible, Hamlet (Great Lakes Theater); Major Barbara, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, The Comedy of Errors, Henry V and Cymbeline (Idaho Shakespeare Festival); Twelfth Night and The Fantasticks! (Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival). Lynn holds an MFA from the University of Delaware Professional Theatre Training Program. He likes acting because it “forces me out of my comfort zones, and to confront the truth of who I am when placed against other characters. Also it’s fun. Also it’s hard.”
