Deaon Griffin-Pressley is a New York City based actor/playwright/poet originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Off Broadway and regional theatre include (Actors’ Shakespeare Project) Richmond/Hastings +8; Richard III (Shakespeare & Company) Orlando, As You Like It; Malcolm, Macbeth; Ferdinand, Tempest; Pisanio +6, Cymbeline; Osric, Hamlet; Lorenzo, The Merchant of Venice;  (The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre) Orsino, Twelfth Night; Hortensio, Taming of the Shrew (Hypokrit Theatre Company) Mercutio & Tybalt (rep), Romeo & Juliet; (and the American Globe Theatre) Banquo, Macbeth;. Film: Phasing, (King Henry Productions)  Stricken, (New York Film Academy).  Deaon has studied theatre at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University, with a full scholarship from the English Speaking Union.  He has written over 10 plays including Satan Vs God, The Tragedy At HOOD:14542 (Hoodsical) & The False Brotherhood Trilogy and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.
