She graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas with a degree in Secondary Education: German and English. She attended university in Bonn, Germany, through KU. More recently, Carol has taught continuing ed courses about the ideas in her book. \u201cA Truant Disposition: Discovering the Tragedy of Hamlet through the Role of Horatio\u201d Carol is a mother and a grandmother.
