Susan Heyward is a classically trained actress. She has studied at various schools including Freedom Theater and Moscow School of Dramatic Art , receiving her BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University. Most recognized for her role as Tamika Ward on the final two seasons on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, she has appeared on other notable television programs such as HBO\u2019s seventies rock \u2018n roll drama VINYL, Playstation\u2019s first original series POWERS and was most recently seen opposite Edie Falco in the new CBS drama TOMMY. She has also appeared in various national commercial campaigns. Her stage work includes contemporary plays such as Alan Aykburn\u2019s MY WONDERFUL DAY and Lynne Nottage\u2019s RUINED;  <\/span>classics, like Ibsen\u2019s MASTER BUILDER; and several Shakespeare plays including Juliet in ROMEO AND JULIET and Ophelia in HAMLET. She was last seen on stage as Rose Granger-Weasley in the original Broadway cast of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD. Her latest film work can be seen on Netflix\u2019s THE INCREDIBLE JESSICA JAMES.
