David Pearson is an actor, director, and lecturer living in Doha, Qatar, in the Gulf Region of the Middle East. He is a member of The Doha Players<\/a>, the leading acting company in Doha for 65 years. He has had lead roles in numerous productions, including <\/span>Hamlet<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Macbeth, The Tempest, Les Miserables<\/span><\/i>,<\/span> The Women in Black<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>The Importance of Being Earnest<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>Oklahoma!<\/span><\/i> He is currently in pre-production for King Lear which he will direct in the spring of 2019.<\/span> He believes Shakespeare is an extraordinary gift for any actor and is very happy to have the opportunity to discuss Shakespeare productions in the Middle East and in general.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
