Prior to this, Brian served as a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milwaukeerep.com\/\">Milwaukee Repertory Theatre<\/a>\u2019s resident acting company for thirteen years. Brian began his history with the Festival in 1991 as a student at SUU and actor in <i>The Greenshow<\/i>. He has since acted in numerous roles during twenty-two Festival seasons, portraying a slew of roles including Hamlet, Henry V, and Cyrano de Bergerac. He has also served as director for the <i>Shakespeare in American<\/i> <i>Communities<\/i> Tour, and director of several Festival productions including <i>Greater Tuna<\/i> (2010), <i>Dial M for Murder<\/i> (2011), <i>Peter and the Starcatcher<\/i> (regional premiere, 2013), <i>Henry IV Part One<\/i> (2014) and <i>Henry IV Part Two<\/i> (2015).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>This year he will be direction the Festival\u2019s production of <i>Henry V<\/i> and starring opposite David Ivers in <i>The Odd Couple<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><b>Quote<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\">I am thrilled at the opportunity that awaits with the opening of the Beverley Center.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>This new center is the culmination of many, many years of passion, artistry and vision that has helped shape the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Not to mention the astonishing generosity of the many donors, friends and supporters who have exhibited their solid support with the project.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The Beverley Center will help bridge the performing and visual arts for our audiences, as well as providing an exciting artistic hub for our staff and the hundreds of amazing individuals who commune in southern Utah every season to share their individual talents.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>It is, without a doubt, the greatest achievement this company has known and I can\u2019t wait to see the impact it will have on our beautiful region over the next fifty years.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click here to listen to his interview.
