For centuries, the tools used in Acting Shakespeare have been handed down from actor to actor in a professional\/apprentice relationship. \u00a0But not every actor interested in Shakespeare has had the opportunity\u00a0to work with experienced actors. \u00a0The State of Shakespeare seeks to provide actors, educators and theater lovers a chance to learn from professionals working in the business. \u00a0 We do so using\u00a0in-depth discussions with professionals about their craft in approaching specific Shakespeare characters. \u00a0Listeners get to hear a speech performed and then discussed by the actor and we provide detailed scansion pages of Shakespeare monologues.<\/p>\n
