I’m from Huntington, NY (on Long Island), where my family still lives.  I went to Hofstra University (also on LI) and studied theatre before moving to NYC 20 years ago this winter. I’ve been fortunate enough to work steadily as an actor ever since, mostly in regional and NYC theatre.  I’ve spent multiple seasons at Texas Shakespeare Festival<\/a> (Hamlet, Mercutio) and Nebraska Shakespeare Festival<\/a> (Richard III, Petruchio), appeared numerous times with the now defunct Unrehearsed Shakespeare Company in NYC (Romeo, Leontes, Jacques, Oberon), and played Falstaff in the American Players Theatre’s<\/a> most recent production of “Merry Wives of Windsor” (a play I’ve done 4 times – twice as Falstaff and twice as Ford – and which I am currently adapting as a piece for 2 or 3 actors).  Currently, I’m a company member and Artistic Associate with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival<\/a> in NY.  2014 will be my 7th consecutive year with HVSF. Roles there include Benedick, Tranio, Thersites, Claudius, Berowne, Kent, and Parolles.  Next summer, I will play Roderigo in “Othello” and the lead in David Ives’ “The Liar”.  I also write and perform stand-up comedy, and my one-man show about my 25 year obsession with the Batman movies, “The Dork Knight”, has enjoyed very successful runs in NYC and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
