He now lives in Columbia, South Carolina where he is an Associate Professor in Theatre at the <a href=\"http:\/\/artsandsciences.sc.edu\/thea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of South Carolina<\/a>, and Head of Undergraduate Studies and Performance. Robert\u2019s directing career continues to take him all over the nation. Most recently his credits at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.folger.edu\/Content\/Whats-On\/Folger-Theatre\/About-Folger-Theatre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Folger Theatre<\/a>, in Washington, DC, include: <i>Twelfth Night<\/i>, <i>Henry V<\/i>, <i>Othello<\/i>, <i>Henry VIII<\/i>, and in the 2013-14 season <i>Richard III<\/i>. He just directed <i>The Tempest<\/i> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.warehousetheatre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Warehouse Theater<\/a> in Greenville, SC. &nbsp;Robert\u2019s work is known for its ability to reinvigorate theatre with imagination, innovation and relevance. He is passionate about developing Shakespeare\u2019s work into productions that connect to a contemporary audience, and for making the plays as accessible and enjoyable as possible. &nbsp;His mission is to create theatre that will sustain and transform the 21st Century, revitalize audiences, and rewarding them for their patronage.
