Kevin Rich is now in his fifth and final season as Artistic Director at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival – Kevin has recently taken  a new position at University of Colorado – Boulder to help develop programming in Applied Shakespeare.  This summer marks ISF’s 40th anniversary season featuring, A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, a 6-person CYMBELINE, I HEART JULIET, and the Improvised Shakespeare Company.  As an actor, Kevin has appeared at Milwaukee Shakespeare, Chicago Shakespeare, Kentucky Shakespeare, Shakespeare and Company, Portland Center Stage, San Jose Rep, Yale Rep, and the American Theatre Company. Kevin is directing I HEART JULIET by the Q Brothers Collective, the latest in their series of Shakespearean ad-rap-tations that includes THE BOMB-ITTY OF ERRORS, FUNK IT UP ABOUT NOTHIN, OTHELLO: THE REMIX and Q GENTS. Kevin founded the Illinois Shakespeare Festival’s “new work initiative” over the past 5 seasons, culminating in this commission of I HEART JULIET;
