Neal J. Freeman (Writer/Director) is delighted to work with so many old and new friends on The Nightmare Dream, particularly Heather Curran with whom he worked at Brooklyn’s The Gallery Players for 8 years, the last 3 as Executive Director and Artistic Director respectively.  Director of over a dozen Shakespeare productions including favorites The Tempest with Sonnet Rep and As You Like It at Cornell University.  For FringeNYC in 2006 Neal wrote, directed and produced Fatboy Romeo.  Neal’s play A Letter from Bataan has twice been a semi-finalist at the Eugene O’Neill Center National Playwrights Conference.  Neal has served as a reader and dramaturg for NYMF since 2009.  BA Cornell University (Honors Directiong),  MFA Directing Brooklyn College.
